David Songulashvili, Georgia's Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture met with Faig Guliyev, Azerbaijan's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Georgia, SİA informs.
During the meeting, the parties discussed opportunities to expand trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.
"The foundation of effective and successful cooperation in agriculture and environmental protection is based on the historically friendly relations between the two countries," Songulashvili noted.
The Azerbaijani ambassador wished the minister success in his new position.
"Environmental protection and agriculture are interesting areas of cooperation for us. I believe we will implement many mutually beneficial projects together," Guliyev highlighted.
