The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) forecasts the country's GDP growth at 3.3% in 2025, including a 5.2% growth in the non-oil and gas sector, according to Report.
"According to our forecasts, in 2025 the average price of one barrel of oil will be $77.3, and the price of 1000 cubic meters of natural gas will be $349," CBA Chairman Taleh Kazimov said at today's press conference.
According to him, the CBA expects Azerbaijan's current account surplus in the balance of payments to be at the level of $5.3-5.5 billion in 2025.
The Ministry of Economy forecasts economic growth in the country this year at 3.5%, including 4.9% in the non-oil and gas sector.
In 2024, Azerbaijan's economy grew by 4.1%, including the non-oil and gas sector by 6.2%.
