Turkish companies have invested $16 billion in Azerbaijan, while Azerbaijan has invested $20 billion in Türkiye, Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said during a joint press conference with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan in Baku on January 18, SİA informs.
The foreign minister emphasized that currently, more than 4,000 Turkish companies are operating in Azerbaijan.
"Work is currently underway on new projects. Efforts are made to increase the export volume of Azerbaijani gas to Türkiye and Europe. We expect that the export geography of our gas will expand in the coming years," Bayramov added.
