Annual inflation in Türkiye has decreased again, SİA reports citing the Turkish Statistical Institute (TSI).
According to the report, annual inflation in November of this year was 47.09%. In October, this figure was 48.58%. In November, consumer prices increased by 2.24% compared to the previous month and by 42.91% compared to the beginning of 2024.
It should be noted that the main group that showed the least increase compared to November of the previous year was transportation prices with 26.24%, while the main group which the highest increase was recorded was education prices with 92.49%.
It should be noted that inflation in Türkiye reached its highest level in the last 24 years - 85.5% in October 2022, while the highest level of this indicator in the current year - 75.45% was recorded in May.
