Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov will represent Azerbaijan at the International Energy Forum in Istanbul, SİA informs referring to Turkish media.
The event, which will take place on November 22, will bring together energy ministers from different countries, representatives of NGOs, international organizations, academia, media, and leading business figures.
Minister Shahbazov will deliver a speech at the session "Challenges and Opportunities for a Sustainable Future."
Among the speakers are Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Türkiye's Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar, Bulgarian Energy Minister Vladimir Malinov, Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto, Moldovan Energy Minister Victor Parlicov, Russian Deputy Energy Minister Pavel Sorokin, and Serbian Minister of Energy and Mining Dubravka Đedović Handanović.
The forum will serve as a platform for discussing a wide range of issues.
In addition to regional and international agenda, topics of energy security and technological innovations will be addressed.
