In January-July of this year, electricity exports in Azerbaijan totaled 522.1 mln kWh, which is 2.45 times less than the annual rate, SİA reports citing the Ministry of Energy.
According to the information, during the reporting period, the country imported 112.4 million kWh of electricity, which is a 28.7% decrease compared to the same period last year.
During the month, the imports of electricity production amounted to 16.9 million kWh, and exports to 78.9 million kWh.
