Azerbaijan has discussed prospects for oil supplies to Kyrgyzstan and imports of Kyrgyz agricultural products, including lamb and beans, Report informs referring to the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry.
The discussions took place during a meeting between Ambassador of this country to Azerbaijan Maksat Mamytkanov and First Deputy Economy Minister of Azerbaijan Elnur Aliyev.
The parties considered issues of cargo transportation and their volume along the route China - Kyrgyzstan - Uzbekistan - Turkmenistan - Caspian Sea - Azerbaijan, taking into account the construction of the China - Kyrgyzstan - Uzbekistan railway. The parties agreed to continue joint work in this direction.
The sides also discussed the functioning of the Azerbaijan-Kyrgyzstan Development Fund, with the authorized capital increased to $100 million following the amendment to the agreement on the authorized capital, signed during the state visit of President Sadyr Japarov to Azerbaijan in April this year.
