Organizational and structural changes were carried out in the General Staff and the Central Office of the Ministry of Defense, as well as in the headquarters of the troops, according to the information from the meeting of the collegium of the Ministry of Defense following the results of 2021, which was chaired by the Minister of Defense, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov, SİA informs.
"The command of the Ground Forces, a new formation, commando units and other units in the formations have been created, their operational capabilities have been expanded," the defense ministry said in a statement.
