Speaker of Azerbaijani parliament, Georgian PM explore Baku-Tbilisi strategic partnership
The Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, and the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament, Sahiba Gafarova, discussed strategic partnership and joint regional projects between the two countries, SİA informs, referring to the Prime Minister's press service.
The parties also discussed issues of economic cooperation. They underscored the effectiveness of the 10th meeting of the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation held in January 2025.
Additionally, the sides explored issues of supporting the effective operation of the Middle Corridor.
The importance of peace and stability in the South Caucasus region was highlighted.
Prime Minister Kobakhidze emphasized that Georgia is ready to continue contributing to ensuring peace and development in the region.
