The Traditional China Outbound Travel and Tourism Market (COTTM) exhibition has kicked off in Beijing, the capital of China.
The show attracts 5,000 Chinese trade buyers from the leading outbound tour operators and travel agents. Exhibiting at COTTM allows businesses to reach key players in the Chinese tourism industry and gain exposure to the growing Chinese market.
Organized by the Azerbaijan Tourism Board with the support of the State Tourism Agency, the country’s national stand features 9 local companies demonstrating their services. Advertising and printing products in English and Chinese highlighting Azerbaijan's tourism potential, historical and cultural monuments, national cuisine, as well as other issues important for tourism are distributed among visitors of the exhibition.
In recent years, the tourism sector has become one of the priority areas of the economy in Azerbaijan. Promotion and recognition of Azerbaijan's tourism potential abroad is one of the main factors affecting the increase in the number of tourists visiting the country.
