The Armed Forces Assistance Fund has announced the accumulations as of January 1, 2014.
The amount of funds accumulated in the Armed Forces Assistance Fund reached 50,754,514 AZN, $211.791 and 593 euros as of January 1, 2014, SIA reports citing the Defence Ministry's official website.
The Armed Forces Assistance Fund was established on August 17, 2002.
The Fund is formed by voluntary donations of individuals and legal entities within the territory of Azerbaijan, as well as by other investments allowed by law.
