The event will run on 22 December in the Atlantic Council in Washington
D.C, according to diaspora organization Azerbaijani-American Council
(AAC).
The moderator of the conference is director of the Atlantic Council, former US ambassador to Azerbaijan, Ross Wilson.
"Because of the strategic position of Azerbaijan between Europe and
Middle East, Central Asia and Iran, as well as its current and
increasing role as a exporter of hydrocarbons, especially within
agreement Azerbaijani-Turkish gas agreement signed on 25 December, the
US became a key partner of Azerbaijan," the reports says.
The diaspora thinks that discussions in the presence of Azimov will be a
good opportunity to assess Azerbaijani-American relations, Karabakh
talks and general situation in the South Caucasus.
