A new system of graduate students has been formed as part of the informatization of education system in Azerbaijan, chairwoman of the State Students Admission Commission Maleyka Abbaszade said.
At the presentation of the system, she noted that the new system was formed upon the Decree of President Ilham Aliyev. The system is to include all subjects of education, a number of state agencies, including ministries of education, finance, defense etc.
The system provides information about 1,978,226 participants in the entrance exams and 615,582 entrants who have passed examinations and entered the universities for the period 1992-2011.
"With the new system, the employer can check the legitimacy of candidate’s diploma right in the workplace," Abbaszade said noting that the monitoring of the Commission revealed 22,332 invalid diplomas.
