Unless the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is solved, negotiation is one of the ways of solution to this conflict. Unfortunately, the negotiations have remained without results and the conflict has not been settled yet", said YAP’s executive secretary, the party’s deputy chairman Ali Ahmadov commenting on the meeting of Azerbaijani, Armenian and Russian foreign ministers which will be held in Moscow today.
He noted that the conflict has not been settled because of Armenia’s non-constructive position: "Unfortunately Armenian side does not intend to leave its non-constructive position. If Azerbaijan accepts the negotiations as a factor which could assist the conflict solution, I consider that it is necessary to participate in the negotiations. Of course, Azerbaijan repeatedly expressed its position. Azerbaijan does not consider is acceptable that Armenia uses negotiations as a mean to protract the conflict solution. We must not allow Armenia to protract the negotiations process for this purpose."
