Attempt to recognize Armenian Genocide fails at European Parliament

Greek and Cypriot members of the European Parliament tried to include the recognition of the Armenian Genocide in the report on Turkey. Dutch parliamentarians’ report on Turkey was adopted by a majority vote, Turkish Vatan newspaper reads.

However, the proposal of Greek and Cypriot MPs to include in the recognition of the Armenian Genocide was rejected by a majority vote.
