Ombudsman receives US Ambassador to Azerbaijan

Human Rights Commissioner Elmira Suleymanova received US ambassador to Azerbaijan Matthew Bryza. Press service of Ombudsman’s Office told SIA that the Ombudsman noted the importance of continuation of cooperation on the human rights field with the US embassy and defined priorities of future prospects. Ombudsman noted that the National Activity Project on human right implements successfully.
Ambassador Matthew Bryza noted that Azerbaijani Ombudsman operated productively in the field of human right defense, she had rich practice, and that, and he was interested in mutual opinion and information exchange with her. He took interest in main directions of Commissioner’s activity.
