Azerbaijani chess-player Shahriyar Mammadyarov won the first place at The World Blitz Championship

The World Blitz Championship on 9 rounds by Swiss system took place in Moscow, Russia. Azerbaijani chess-player Shahriyar Mammadyarov won the first place. He got 14, 5 points. Russian chess-players Ruslan Ponomoryov(14 points), Dmitri Andreykin and Yevgeni Tamashevski (13,5 points) will also participate at the final of The World Blitz Championship. Other Azerbaijani representatives Rauf Mammedov(12,5 points),Vasif Durarbeyli (11,5 points), Gulnar Mammedova (7,5 points) were not participate in the final of the Championship. The award of the tournament comprises 36 000 euro.
