On February 11-13, 2011, there will be held an international tournament "Yashar Dogu" in Istanbul, Turkey. Our combined teams consisting of senior and women wrestlers will take part in this tournament to be organized for 39th time.
In the competitions held on free-style wrestling, our country will be represented by Yashar Aliyev (55 kg), Mahmud Mahammadov, Togrul Asgarov (both – 60 kg), Zalimkhan Huseynov (66 kg), Jabrayil Hasanov, Aleksandr Gostiyev (both 74 kg), Novruz Temrezov (84 kg), Khetag Gazyumov, Sharif Sharifov (both 96 kg) and Ali Isayev (120 kg). Our teams will participate in the aforementioned tournament under guidance of the chief coacher Saypulla Absaidov, the senior coacher Firdovsi Umudov, the coacher Aslan Agayev.
The women team will include the following wrestlers: Mariya Stadnik, Marziget Bagomedova (both 48 kg), Patimat Magomedova, Anjela Dorogan (both 51 kg), Yuliya Ratkevich, Yarina Dubrovska (both 55 kg), Olesya Zamula, Gozel Zutova (both 63 kg), Nadya Sementsova, Natalya Palamarchuk (both 72 kg). Our national team will be guided in this tournament by the senior coacher Kurban Kurbanov.
Mr. Zakir Mammadov, the referee of international category will participate in administration of matches.
