The representatives of Joint-Stock Company Kazakhstan Gharysh Sapary at Baku office of Azercosmos OJSC, the premier satellite operator in the Caucasus has held meeting.
During the meeting the guests were provided detailed information about Azercosmos, Azerspace-1 satellite and its technical characteristics, the application areas of satellite Azersky, and the second telecommunications satellite of Azerbaijan to be launched into orbit in 2017.
It was noted that Kazakhstan Gharysh Sapary was established by the resolution of the Government of Kazakhstan dated March 17, 2005 with the purpose of developing space activities in the country and carrying out operations in this area.
At the same time its principal activities include the production of technical equipment for space projects, launching into orbit and others.
During the meeting, held within the framework of bilateral cooperation, representatives of both companies discussed the possibility of organizing joint projects and joint use of Earth observation satellite Azersky.
