"The resolution on "Armenian genocide" adopted by the European Parliament is the most shameful, unfair decision with specific goals in the history of the European Parliament, "the Assistant of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan for Socio-Political Affairs Ali Hasanov told journalists, SIA reports.
According to Mr Hasanov, the anti-Islamic and anti-Turkish policy in today's world, the policy of approach to the events in the framework of double standards cause a regret. The same phenomena are observed in the activities of some European politicians, the international and humanitarian human rights organizations with the support of the Armenian. The trend of anti-Azerbaijan in these phenomena are related to the same factors. Azerbaijani society knows very well that the attempt to form the opinions against our country is baseless.
"For many years we have been informing the world, as well as European countries and institutions about the truth on the Khojaly genocide and real facts of atrocities committed against the Turks and Azerbaijanis by the Armenians in the last 200 years. However, the European countries, European Parliament, Council of Europe haven’t adopted any objective decision on the issue." added Assistant of the President.
Ali Hasanov stressed that after this decision the Azerbaijani delegation has already suspended its activity Euronest PA. In this case, we will have to reconsider all relations with the European Parliament,
