The volume of information and communication services rendered to organizations and population in Azerbaijan in January of current year amounted to AZN 133.6 million, SIA informs.
The volume of services rendered in comparable prices increased by 13.9% compared to the same period of 2014.
The volume of information and communication services rendered to the population was 72.2 percent.
During the reporting period, mobile communication services accounted for 52.5 percent of the total income. Total revenue received from mobile communication services increased by 3.5 and amounted to AZN 70.2 million compared with the similar period of 2014.
Note that in the last year services rendered to the business entities and population made up AZN1.6 billion. Mobile services revenues in the communication and information sector amounted to 56.5 percent.
