Azerbaijani soldier Sarkhan Gasimov has been shot to death by an Armenian sniper while executing a military task, SIA reports.
Subunits of the Armenian Armed Forces violated ceasefire near Chayli village of Tartar region on the front line.
The 18-year-old soldier of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan Sarkhan Vagif oghlu Gasimov who’d been drafted on January 5, 2013 from Aghstafa region was killed as a result of ceasefire violation by Armenian troops, the press service of the Defence Ministry says.
The funeral ceremony of the martyr will be held on December 28. High ranking officers of the Defence Ministry will attend the funeral.
