President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today been honored with the Caspian Statesman of the Year Award, SIA reports.
The Head of State was awarded for his leadership in the transnational projects carried out in the region.
Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Taner Yildiz handed over the award to head of the Socio-Political Affairs Department at the Azerbaijani President`s Administration Ali Hasanov.
Azerbaijani Transport Minister Ziya Mammadov was awarded with the Executor of the Best Project of the Year Award.
