Azerbaijan, Turkey and Georgia have signed a protocol on acceleration of construction works in the BTK railway in the meeting of the countries’ delegations led by Transport Ministers Ziya Mammadov, Bineli Yildirim and George Kvirikashvili, SIA reports quoting AzerTAc. Praising the role of the railway, Ziya Mammadov noted it is not only an economic but also strategic project. The project will connect the continents.
Turkish Minister said that after the BTK railway we will implement a railroad project between Kars and Nakhchivan.
George Kvirikashvili thanked the Azerbaijani Government for financial support.
