On the occasion of February 2 – Youth Day, on the initiative of Brussels office of the European Azerbaijan Society (TEAS) meeting was held with the Azerbaijanis studying in Belgium.
Azerbaijan’s ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium Fuad Isgandarov and head of the Azerbaijani mission to NATO Khazar Ibrahim attended the meeting.
Making a keynote speech at the event, head of TEAS Brussels office Roman Huna gave information about the history of the Youth Day in Azerbaijan and mentioned that it was associated with the name of the national leader Heydar Aliyev.
Addressing the event, Fuad Isgandarov highly appreciated the potential of the Azerbaijani youth, said state programs were implemented for the study of the Azerbaijani youth abroad, noted that the youth were the future of Azerbaijan. Ambassador said it was praiseworthy that the number of the Azerbaijanis studying at the universities abroad was increasing, underlined that they had high chances to be represented in the public management in the near future. Ambassador Fuad Isgandarov wished success to the students and underlined that they can always appeal to the embassy regarding any issue.
The event continued with the dinner hosted by TEAS.
