On 27-28 February, I Japanese-Azerbaijani ICT Forum will be held.
The statement came from ICT Minister Ali Abbasov in his meeting with Japanese Ambassador to Azerbaijan Shusuke Vatanabe, the ICT Ministry says.
The ambassador noted that in the background of rapid development of information technologies in Azerbaijan, Japan has long been interested in the organization of such forum.
He offered to focus on satellite issues, given the fact that Azerbaijan this year will launch its first satellite into orbit.
According to the ambassador, representatives of public and non-state representatives, as well as nearly 40 private companies of Japan are expected to join the forum.
Minister Ali Abbasov in turn noted the importance of the Japanese experience in this field for Azerbaijan.
