The number of domains in Azerbaijani national zone has reached 16,426.
Of them, 15,278 accounted for domain ".az", referring to the ICT Ministry.
The second largest domain names, 666, were registered in "com.az". Since the beginning of the year, 131 domain names were registered.
In 1993, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) passed a decision to give ".az" domain zone to the Azerbaijani state.
