There is a plan to discuss information security in the CIS countries.
The statement came from Russian Minister of Mass Communication Nikolai Nikiforov speaking at the joint session of the 47th council of heads of the communication administrations of the regional commonwealth in the sphere of communication and the 18th coordination council of the CIS states for information
He said the development of internet and means of data transfer provides not only the opportunity to those who use newest technologies for development of education and economy but also promotes cyber crimes.
"CIS countries must unite to ensure information security. We are going to work together in this direction", Nikiforov said.
The Russian minister noted that a protocol to define the further activity of the Communication administrations of regional commonwealth in the sphere of communication in this direction will be signed by results of the Baku session.
