Activists reported on Thursday that more than 54 people were killed and dozens wounded by a government air strike. Amateur footage is said to show the aftermath of the attack, purported to have taken place in the Northern province of al-Raqqa.
Meanwhile, at the country’s border with Turkey, residents reported gunfire by Syrian state forces near the Tel Abyad gate. Rebels seized control of the border post on Wednesday.
