Azerbaijan condemns Syria's shooting down of a warplane belonging to Turkey, the Foreign Ministry spokesman has said.
Elman Abdullayev noted that this will entail even more tension.
"Such instances should be seriously investigated. We always stand with Turkey and always support its position."
