Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev issued an order on call-up of Azerbaijani citizens from July 1 to 30, 2012 and retirement.
Under the decree, the citizens born in 1994 who reached 18 before the call-up day, as well as born in 1977-1993, under 35, the citizens having no deferment of military service, will be called up from July 1, 2102 to 30, 2012.
The soldiers, sailors and sergeants serving the term of military service considered by the law of the Azerbaijan Republic Article #38.1.1 on "The military service" will retire from July1 to 30, 2012. The Cabinet of Ministers and local authorities were instructed to ensure the decree is being implemented in accordance with the law.
