International transport exhibition starts in Baku

Today, TransCaspian 2012 –International Transport, Transit and Logistics exhibition kicked of in Baku.

The exhibition was organized by Iteca Caspian and will last until June 15.

Azerbaijani Minister of Transport Ziya Mammadov noted that, TansCaspian exhibition operated as the most significant transport forum in Caucasus. The exhibition is supported by Ministry of Transport and cooperates with TRCECA project closely.

70 companies from 15 countries including Turkey, Italy, France, Czech and Latvia attend the exhibition. Croatia joins the exhibition for the first time.


Along with commercial companies, Azerbaijan’s main state transport organizations – Ministry of Transport, Azerbaijan Railways, State Marine Administration, State Caspian Sea Shipping and etc participate in eth exhibition.

Exposition of the exhibition includes Black Sea, Caspian Sea and Baltic Sea ports. Poti port, Batumi port, Liepaysk port, Ventspilk free port and Baku Trade port are among these.
