Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Iran Javanshir Akhundov arrived in Baku, Azerbaijani embassy in Iran told.
The reason of the ambassador’s arrival in Baku was not announced.
Spokesperson for the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Elman Abdullayev told that the ambassador was not recalled to Baku for consultations. According to Abdullayev, the ambassador arrived in Baku because of personal affairs.
Iranian ambassador to Azerbaijan was recalled to Tehran for consultations.
