Adoption of the resolution on the status of human rights in Azerbaijan by the European Parliament is a thoughtless and unfair decision.
The statement came from spokesman for the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan Elman Abdullayev speaking at a news conference in Baku on 25 May.
"The points featured in the European parliament resolution are absurd and untrue", he said.
