Azerbaijan is not going to join any military block- Elman Abdullayev

"Currently, Azerbaijan is not going to join any military block," spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Elman Abdullayev told.

According to him, Azerbaijan has joined the Non-Aligned Movement and the essence of this step is not to join the military block.

"Currently Azerbaijan is loyal to its independent course and it is not going to join any military block, including NATO. At the same time Azerbaijan pursues the course of integration into the Euro-Atlantic institutions. Membership and integration are different things."
