Baku holds International oil gas processing and petrochemical forum

Oil Gas Processing and Petrochemical Complex (OGPC) Forum has today kicked off in Baku.

Forum has been organized by Iteca Caspian and INBC Consulting. Issues on history, current state and construction of new oil and gas processing and petrochemical complex will be discussed within the framework of the 3-day event.

The forum is expected to listen 45 presentations. Speakers include President of BP-Azerbaijan Rashid Javanshir, vice-president of SOCAR Tofig Gahramanov, Davud Mamedov, Suleyman Gasimov, Chairman of theObservation Council of Azerkimya IU Mukhtar Babayev, director of the Institute Neftqazelmitədqiqatlayihə Fakhraddin Ismailov, Chief Executive Officer of SOCAR Energy Turkey Kenan Yavuz, senior vice-president of Technip Marco Villa, president and CEO of UOP Rajiv Guate, chief executive officer of Foster Wheeler Italiana, Director on commercial activities of Axens company Jean-Claude Plumel.

In general more than 140 companies from 30 countries are expected to attend the forum. Participating companies include ABB, Allen & Overy, Alstom Grid SAS, AMEC, Baker & McKenzie, Bentley Systems, BNP Paribas, Credit Agricole CIB, Deloitte & Touche, DuPont Products, Ernst & Young, ING Bank, Pricewaterhouse Coopers, Royal Bank of Scotland.
