NATO Secretary General arriveы in Azerbaijan

NATO Secretary General’s Special Representative for the South Caucasus and Central Asia James Appathurai arrived in Azerbaijan on July 5.

SIA reports that it is the first of Appathurai to Azerbaijan as the special representative.

The visit has the familiarization character. During the visit he will hold negotiations with the Azerbaijani officials. Besides, he will deliver a speech in the summer session of NATO-Azerbaijan International School named "The Middle East Puzzle: Security and Democracy".

The visit will finish on July 6.

Though Appathurai’s visit to Baku was scheduled to June 10, the visit was postponed.
