The Steve Jobs movie will no longer be going ahead, according to reports.
Sony Pictures have dropped the film about the Apple founder’s life, say The Hollywood Reporter.
However it’s not all bad news as Universal Pictures are said to be keen on picking up where Sony left off.
Michael Fassbender was the latest actor tipped to play the roel of Jobs after Christian Bale and Leonardo DiCaprio walked away from the project.
Sony apparently struggled to fit the film into its slate according to reports.
Fassbender’s schedule is said to have been another obstacle as the actor is set to start shooting on X-Men: Apocalypse in the spring.
The Steve Jobs movie was going to be based on a biography written by Walter Isaacson.
It would follow Jobs through his career as he prepared to make three presentations that defined his life.
