“Nar” supports athletes with physical disabilities

“Nar” continues to provide support to young boxers from low-income families and athletes with physical disabilities, facilitating their participation in international tournaments. A member of “Umid” sports club supported by the mobile operator gained a victory in the World Para Swimming Championship in London, Great Britain. Thus, Roman Soley representing “Ümid” sports club won 3 medals in freestyle and backstroke swimming competitions. As a result, Roman Soley obtained 4 direct qualification slots to Tokio 2020 Summer Paralympic Games.

Notably, “Nar” supports the members of “Umid” sport club in their preparation for European and world championships which are qualifiers for Paralympic Games. Thus, all the supplies related to the preparation of the athletes are equipped by “Nar”.

Note that “Umid” sports club, established in 2008 focuses mainly on athletics, swimming, judo and youth chess. During this period, “Umid” sports club trained champions of the country, Europe and the World, as well as the Olympics finalists.
