The specialists of the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies (MCHT) as well as anyone in the technology field should be proud of today’s success, said Simon Clegg, Chief Operating Officer of Baku 2015 European Games Operation Committee (BEGOC) at an event held in MCHT on the occasion of the completion of the first European Games.
According to him, we do not give particular attention to the role of technology in our everyday lives, but we feel this gap when facing a technological problem:
“We don’t realize the role of technology in our lives, and do not pay attention to what changes it makes in our lives. But if there is any problem in our telephone lines, phones or other technical problems arise, then we understand the importance of technology. At that time we highly value the technology.”
In this regard, Simon Clegg highly appreciated the work carried out by the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies during the games:
“In particular, it should be emphasized that the excellent results are obtained only in the event of the technology is planned in detail or is comparable. In this area, all employees of the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies in close cooperation with the Baku European Games Operation Committee discussed every aspect, every issue in depth and achieved today’s success. Discussions, meetings held at MCHT, as well as Baku European Games Operation Committee lasted for months and yielded results. MCHT specialists, as well as anyone in the technology field should be proud of today’s results.”
Chief Operating Officer noted that as a result of their labor the technology have paved the way for positive results:
“They have contributed to the achievements of the first Baku 2015 European Games”.
