Arina Averina won all five Rhythmic Gymnastics gold medals at the event in Corbeil-Essonnes, France. The 16-year-old's identical twin Dina shared the gold medal in the Ribbon and claimed second place in three of the other events - Ball, Hoop and All-Around.
Arina won the Ball competition with a score of 17.950, finishing ahead of Dina's 17.933 points. Laura Zeng of the United States placed third with 17.450 points.
Arina and Dina went one-two in the Hoop with 17.866 and 17.616 points respectively. Bulgaria's Sara Staykova came third with 17.083 points.
While the Averinas both scored 17.766 points in the Ribbon, Staykova picked up a second bronze medal with 17.066 points.
Arina Averina was first in the All-Around with 70.848 points and Dina won second place with 70.415 points. The 2014 Youth Olympic Games All-Around bronze medallist Zeng picked up the bronze medal with 68.249 while Staykova came fourth.
The only time the competition was able to finish ahead of Dina Averina was in the Clubs. Arina Averina took first place with 17.700 points with Zeng grabbing the silver medal with 17.350 points and Camilla Feely winning the bronze medal with 16.900. Dina Averina slumped to sixth.
