Lithuanian athletes, coaches, sports medics and veterans joined the gathering with the LTOK to celebrate the up-coming inaugural European Games, which will take place from 12-28 June in Baku.
"I am glad that the first Games will take place with more than 60 athletes from Lithuania," LTOK President Daina Gudzinevičiūtė said.
"The mission will include both experienced athletes and young athletes starting their career. These Games provide a great opportunity to become the first champions of the European Games."
Presently, no less than 57 Lithuanian athletes have fulfilled Baku 2015 qualification standards in nine sports – 3x3 basketball, swimming, boxing, kayak and canoe, cycling, gymnastics, sambo, beach volleyball and wrestling.
The LTOK is still hoping to have athletes qualify from judo, badminton, table tennis, triathlon and shooting.
