Today, the 3rd millionth tourist has visited Azerbaijan, Spokesperson of the State Tourism Agency Kenan Guluzade told, SIA reports referring to Reports.
According to him, the number of tourists visiting the country this year is expected to exceed 3 million.
The number of tourists visiting Azerbaijan this year has risen by 11.1%. The top five countries, from where tourists come, include Russia, Georgia, Turkey, Iran and Saudi Arabia. The number of tourists from Europe, Central and South Asia and the Middle East has declined.
