Data Processing Center (DPC) of the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies (MCHT) regularly publishes a bulletin to inform the public on e-government building, e-services, e- signature, as well as local and international news in the field of information communication technologies (ICTs).A briefing was held today in connection with a regular bulletin.
The new issue of the bulletin provides detailed information about e-government portal, introduction of new e-services, exchange of e-documents, e-signature infrastructure and experiences of foreign countries on e-government.
It should be noted that the briefing was attended by DPC director Nail Mardanov, technical director of the Center for International Relations and Accounting Center of MCHT Mazahim Guliyev, representative of the National Certificate Services Center Nadir Rasulov and representative of Bilasuvar executive authority Sevil Shukurlu.
Speaking about the work done by DPC, Nail Mardanov said as of April 1, the number of visits to e-services through e-government portal was over 8 million 600 thousand. In general, since the launch of the portal to date the total number of users who accessed the portal has reached 1.5 million. According to him, 413 e-services are offered through the portal:
“The range of services is increasing day after day. There is also growth in the number of users. The introduced services are becoming more social and practical services.”
Nail Mərdanov noted that the DPC has partnered with local authorities and a software was developed in March this year to make online appointment with responsible persons. According to him, the service was first launched in Bilasuvar region.
In her turn, representative of Belasuvar executive authority Sevil Shukurlu said the provision of e-services by executive bodies was positively met by local residents
“Bilasuvar executive authority has become one of the first executive powers to provide e-services. The executive authority is carrying out work to expand the range of e-services. This includes the issuance of certificates about family composition and 10 more services reflecting other areas.”
