These coins featuring Disney characters may look like they were made for kids to play with but they are actually legal tender.
You’ll have to travel to the tiny island of Niue, in the South Pacific Ocean, if you want to spend them though.
The gold and silver coins have a selection of famous characters on them including Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Pluto and Goofy. On the other side there is an image of Queen Elizabeth II.
Simon Harding, head of the New Zealand Mint, doesn’t recommend you spend the currency in shops.
He said: ‘It would be the height of financial folly to buy one of these products and then redeem it at face value for a fraction of that value, although I’m sure any Niuean shopkeeper would be anxious to hold onto the coins if you did.’
The most expensive coins cost NZ$799 (£393) but are only worth US$25 (£16) if you spend them in Niue.
