Having a lost iPad returned to you is about as likely as winning the lottery (and feels just as good, we assume).
So when Stepan Hruda, from New York, managed to leave his on a plane and then have it returned to him he was on cloud nine, however the airline staff left a little surprise that made all the stress of losing a £300 device totally worth it.
The IcelandAir staff who found it decided to leave some jokey selfies for the owner, proving that airlines aren’t only about ridiculous overpricing and terrible customer service, they also have a sense of levity.
Stepan says he found the whole episode amusing, and hopes the staff in the photos do not face any disciplinary actions for the photos.
He said: ‘This was a great customer experience, I am very happy I got my iPad back and I hope no one gets silly and tries to give these nice employees s**t for it.’
Also, in case anyone is wondering, it was an iPad 4.
