Jennifer Lawrence paid tribute to the British moviegoers who greeted her at the world premiere of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 in London.
The actress, who plays heroine Katniss Everdeen, defied the cold weather to sign autographs for fans in Leicester Square.
Afterwards she chatted to Sky News on the red carpet.
"It's amazing to see the crowds. It's the most incredible feeling. That's why we make these movies - for these people." she said.
The film is due to be released on 21 November.
The third book of the trilogy has been split in two but Lawrence insists the story remains true.
"It was really important to stay true to the book - that's what people love, that's what the fan base is based on. We're all fans of the book so we didn't want to go far from it".
