The 7th Summit of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States starts its work in Baku

The 7th Summit of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States (Turkic Council) starts today in Baku. The summit is held with the participation of the leaders of Turkic speaking states.

Uzbekistan participates in the meeting as a full member of the Turkic Council for the first time. In addition, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban also attends the Summit.

The meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States (Turkic Council) was held yesterday in Baku. The Turkish Council was established in Nakhchivan on October 3, 2009. The purpose of the Council is to develop comprehensive cooperation among member states. Six meetings have been held up to now.
