All conditions have been created for about 5.2 million people to vote in the parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan, Mazahir Panahov, the head of the Central Election Commission (CEC), said at the press-conference on November 1.
All polling stations in Azerbaijan are fully ready for the elections, he said.
He noted that some 767 candidates participated in the elections.
I think that this is a large number. Over 60,000 observers have been registered to observe the elections, Panahov said.
He also noted that great conditions have been created for transparent elections.
It will be possible to observe the election anywhere in the world. Web cameras are installed in 1,000 polling stations. The social and political stability, the attitude of the Azerbaijani society for the election allow saying that the election will be transparent and free, he said.
