"We decisively condemn organization of concert program in Khankendi, Azerbaijan’s occupied city on September 2 with the participation of Lyubov Kazarnovskaya and others”, Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry's spokesperson Hikmet Hajiyev stated.
"This concert serves promotion of so-called regime created as a result of Armenia’s aggression and invasion against Azerbaijan, bloody ethnic cleansing policy. We’d like to mention Kazarnovskaya, who speaks about justice and peace, that in 1992, Armenia and the so-called regime committed genocide against Azerbaijanis in Khojaly which sits several kilometers away from Khankendi. Those that call themselves culture figures should at least be ashamed of the underage children and women who fell victim to this tragedy. As a result of Armenia’s vandalism policy, rich material cultural monuments as well as world-famous Karabakh musical heritage have been looted and destroyed in those occupied territories,” added Hikmat Hajiyev.
"Other foreign citizens who took part in the concert will soon be added to the list of undesired persons once the investigation is over," the Ministry's spokesman said.
